After waking up and before getting down from bed it has been said 

that one should open up his palms and pray to god and then touch 

the ground and pray before keeping their leg out in the ground.

people laugh at it as a blind belief but our ancestors had a great 

scientific reason behind it.lets have a sneak peek into the 

reason.


when a person is lying down or sleeping , the kind of energy that 

operates in him is static energy or the potential energy. when he 

gets up , that static energy should get converted as dynamic 

energy or kinetic energy.when we touch the ground , the static 

energy moves out of the body and kinetic energy takes its 

place.when leg first touches the ground , this energy will move 

downwards and will go waste . but when our hands touches the 

ground first , this energy will move upward and will have a 

greater impact in a person's efficiency and energy level 

throughout the day.

Why Should we take bath deep inside water early in the morning ?

There must be a rigid scientific reasons behind each and every practice of our ancestors.its been said that one must get up early in the morning and walk to the pond and take bath in it.
It has been an usual practice to take bath in running water (IE river) or in the temple ponds.it had been considered a best practice to walk to the temple and take bath in the temple pond.

Is it good to walk bare foot

We live in such a society where its considered prestegious to wear footwear even while eating or when in house.We are in a period where a person's status is determined by looking at his footwear and from the kind of shoes he wears.it has become a necessity to wear shoes while exercising or even when walking.people are forced into this kind of situation by some kind of inherent fear. they fear that others would underestimate them and their status if they walk bare foot.
But the very modern research has proved that walking bare foot will increase the blood circulation to the feet and aids in healthy living and that each and everyone should walk bare foot atleast for sometime daily.
while walking bare foot on a rough surface , the foot gets direct pressure.it has been found out that this will increase the effectiveness of body's functions.there are various points in the lower foot which has direct connection with the brain , heart , kidney and various other parts of our body.so when pressure is applied in these points directly , will in turn increase the efficiency of the concerned part's perfomance.We all are aware of the modern accupuncture system using needles to cure diseases. this is a kind of natural accupuncture system.

why should we silently chart mantras before getting out from bed?

We have often heard people associating good sleep with happiness. It is often said that one who has lost sleep has lost all happiness of life. We have many sashtras regulating how to sleep and how to get up. The sashtras say that we should get up early in the morning during brahma muhurtha (ie around three or four)it is also said that sleeping during brahma muhurta will bring with it ill fate. so it is like one should get up ;turning towards his right, during brahma muhurtha and sit calmly and open up ;your palm and chant the following mantra silently.

when a person is sleeping his heart works slowly for the purpose of blood circulation. when we jump drastically out of bed, then heart has work fast suddenly and there is a sudden burden in the heart. This will increase the heart beat rate suddenly. So to avoid this sudden burden to heart we should sit down calmly and tell some mantras so that the heart adopts to the work pace gradually not drastically and the rate of heart beat is balanced.

why should we turn to our right and come out of bed?

We have heard naughty children being called the ones who got up from left from this we come to know that there is something wrong in getting up from the left side though our elders have not given any clear reasons for it they have always insisted in getting up by turning towards our right some research has been mode in this regard and the results were approved by many western scientists. lets now look in to the reason for such a practice.

There is some kind of magnetic field around our body. one kind of which flows from leg to head and from head to leg and the other one flows horizontally from left to right through front and from right to left through back. this field will have a positive impact only when we move in relation to it. When we move in the opposite direction it will have an adverse effect on this field which in turn will affect the way in which the body functions.
